The holistic approach to healing is integrative and experiential. It can include somatic, lifestyle (behavioral), cognitive, intuitive and meditative approaches. We are unique in how we process our life events and emotions, and something that works for one person may not work for another.
In addition to our personal life traumas, HHA recognizes that we carry ancestral traumas in our cellular memories as well as collective traumas from food insecurity, wars, emotional deprivation and pandemics. Once we recognize what we are holding on to and that it isn’t helping us, we can learn to let go of it. In Holistic approaches we appreciate that the power to heal and recover an integrated sense of self can help us move in more positive directions.
