Client Intake Session
A client intake session is the first step and necessary prior to any therapy. This is a 90 minute session. In this session, we will complete the intake formalities. We will also discuss your intention for therapy, your immediate goals, your budget, preferences and life history including traumatic events. Based on the above, a treatment plan is recommended.

Insurance
There are a few different types of credentials for counsellors in BC. Please check details of your coverage. Generally, many extended benefit plans reimburse clients for some or all costs of counselling if counsellor or mental health therapist is mentioned in the benefits.
Most extended health insurance providers accept the designation of Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC), which is considered equivalent to other counselling designations such as RCC for counselling. Please contact me if you need a letter from ACCT to advise your insurer.
Direct Billing
HHA Inc., does not offer Direct Billing. After the client pays, we provide receipts to the client that they can claim for reimbursement if applicable.
